the new release 0.79d is out.


Important note:
---------------

- Remove your old xmlBlaster.properties, jacorb.properties
  and orb.properties files.
  Use the new files from directory xmlBlaster/config.

- Backward compatibility:
  * xmlBlaster 0.79d is compatible with 0.79c


New features:

- Two new security plugins.
  * Cyrilles 'password-crypt' based plugin
  * The LDAP based security plugin.

- Many improvements for CORBA/C++ access
  * Windows port
  * Shared library (DLL) support
  * A simple, builtin xmlBlaster lookup

- Full browser based Javascript access to xmlBlaster
  with persistent HTTP connection and real time updates

KNOWN BUGS:
-----------
   * The "simple" security plugin is needed for the JDBC driver
     to login.
     This will be changed in a future release.
   * Cyrilles often published PtP/persistence bug is still not fixed.
     (see mailing list).
